After "Voices: Mapping the Hood / A Multi-media Interactive Collaborative Installation @ Art Produce Gallery", and "Give Some, Take Some @ The Garage", here is "Trade Show, California – Turkey", a swap of artworks between 100 Californian artists (a lot of them from San Diego) and 100 Turkish artists. The artists used a two-dimensional, 6” x 6” format. The show is organized and curated by Anna Stump.
Trading is a concept I am very interested in. The three shows/events are not related to each other but they are based on the same principle. I participated in the three events, each of them being a very good and positive experience!
I am looking forward to go to the opening of the show tomorrow at the Garage.
The opening reception: July 3, From 7:00 to 9:00pm.
