Untitled

"Untitled", mixed media, 2009

In Allison Renshaw's show "Plastic Fantastic", the public is invited to propose a title for a piece titled "Untitled". Anyone can write a title and place it on the magnetic board. It is an interesting idea, but "Untitled" works for me very well for that composition and could have work for all the pieces present in the show as well. The titles "Rip Curl", "Panic at the Disco" and "Chlorophyll Gum" for example, orientate the way I am reading the pieces they refer to without giving me much meaning.
